Hurricane Helene devastated Asheville's vibrant Arts Community, leaving many artists and potters without
studios, equipment, or resources. As the owner of The Gallery at Plays in Mud Pottery,
I’m committed to helping fellow artists rebuild and continue their craft.
We’re launching a Pottery Consortium to offer fully-equipped studio space for potters in need. Our facility will provide everything, including wheels, kilns, and workspace, so that local artists can create without
worrying about the financial burden of replacing tools and materials.
Your donations will help cover upfront costs like clay, glaze materials, and electricity,
while also providing artists the chance to sell their work in our gallery with minimal fees.
We’re creating a community that lifts each other up in the wake of this disaster, but we can’t do it alone.
Donate today to help Asheville potters get back on their feet and rebuild their creative livelihoods!
